raised dosage
I have been taking WellbutrinXL 300 mg for a few years now. It suddenly stopped working for me at that dose so I am now on the max of 450mg. Why does it take so much? I feel guilty that I have to take so much medication.
Don't feel guilty - if anything, it's a sign that you are at least somewhat healthy. Your body develops a tolerance to chemicals and medications over time, and antidepressants do eventually poop out. For now, the highest dose of wellbutrinXL works - in three or four years, maybe not - but it's OKAY...when that happens, you'll find another drug that will do just as well.
