the next thing that happened!

the next thing that happened!

ok so i saw my gp for a referral to a psychologist and she went throught the mental health kit (australian) and on it she wrote that i question the appropriateness of the meds i was on ten years ago and that;s my issue.  What a crock!
i entirely dispute the appropriateness of the meds i was on and i will tell the psych that as soon as i see her, if ever! and furthermore i am angry at the arrogance of my gp to belittle my concerns in such a way.
i mean i know she had to write something there but why not phrase it in such a way that doesn't indicate she thinks i'm a fool.  i'm really despairing at the moment bocs i'm sick of the cycle - i panic about my past, i tell someone and noone believes me!  who do you talk to about your experiences with misdiagnosis when the system protects itself and not the patient?

furthermore i dated a boy with schizophrenia so it doesn't bother me . . i am not in denial i took the meds and when i voiced my concerns to the nurses they told me to take another valium and another one until i was confused and bewildered and agitated. they were impatient and weren;t monitoring me properly. can i sue them or what? what do i do? how do i get my confidence back?

anyone in melbourne australia should in my personal opinion avoid the Monash Medical Centre psych team.  and also avoid Dr Richard England who i saw and who told me that medication was "Safe" to use.

to clarify i did not have a good experience with either one of them and when i asked what happens on meds (in the context of what if i don't need them) dr england said "nothing".  and then later i asked if my sideeffects would be permanent and he contradicted himself and said "everything's permanent!" which in my opinion is very confusing and also in direct contrdication to what other mental health professionals tell you.
