titrating paxil

I've take Paxil 10mg for three days now and I would like to quit, I have headaches and nausea now. My headaches are not relieved with the Tylenol. Will there be serious side effects just taking the medication for three days?

I guess there could be some discontinuation side effect from only three days, but I would seriously doubt it.

3 day on Paroxitine isn't even long enough to have a theraputic amount built up in your blood streem.

You should just be able to stop it abruptly. My may feel a little nausia for a few days but that should be about all.

i take paxil too and you need to give it some time. three days is'nt long enough. i would give it 2 or 3 more weeks. the headaches and nausea will go away. it works well on my depression and anxiety. if you have panic attacks it works very well for them. try to give it some more time to start working. all antidepressants can make you feel bad at first but it usually goes away in a week or two. take care. I think your symptoms are side effects from Paxil; maybe your organism doesn't support this med. When I started on cymbalta I suffered severe nausea.

not everyone responds the same way to particular meds as others.  tell your doctor and maybe you can change meds if you feel you need them.  

i had bad headaches and nasea from wellbutrin, and the longer i took it the worse they got and I started to feel like i was having seizures.  Nausea can be somewhat normal but headaches do not sound good at all.

Paxil nearly killed me... and so did coming off of it. The closest I ever came to suicide was when I'd been on Paxil just a few weeks.
