my partner has been taking these pills for over 12mths and i see no improvement to her health at all, she is all over the place. sweats,anxiety attacks, persecution complex,paranoia,distrubed sleep and nightmares, plus she has learned tai kwon do in her sleep( i feel like her kick bag) and has angry outbursts followed by constant tears. she was diagnosed with severe depression. i am against tablets to be frank, but the things i read about these pills worries me for her. i have asked her to go back to GP but he is as much use as nowt. help

she cannot just come off it apparently cos of side effects are horrendous compared to what she is experiencing right now, i have talked to her today and she says she will think about it and to be honest thats as much as i can do at the moment, is to try and persuade her it the right thing for her to do she hates been told what to do it causes such a rage. at least i got her to listen to what i had to say and she knows i have her best intrests at heart!

I am going through the menopause at the moment (well have been for the last 5 years) and I get really bad headaches - where they get me into a state of sickness and i have to be in bed for about 2 - 3 days but since taking venflaxin - i have been feeling ok - I take 37.5mg in a morning and a 75mg at night - The only thing is I have gained about 6lbs in weight....  No other side effects for me on these.  I have been on them for about 4 months now.  Julie.R.
