I also take wellbutrin and clonezepam to help with depression and anxiety. The wellbutrin usually gives me a lot of energy but, if I take the clonezepam it does help with my anxiety but it also makes me pretty tired. I took it last night and still feel a little tired today. I know that all of us are different but, if I had to take a guess then I would venture to say that it's the clonezepam that's making you tired. I hope that you see some improvement soon though. I know how hard it is to feel fired all the time. As far as the mental fog I usually feel that whenever I first start any antidepressant. It's definitely kind of a pain but, for me at least it usually wears off pretty soon. I hope this can be of some help to you and some of the mental side effects will wear off soon. Good Luck!
Wellbutrin can cause a mental fog. I take it mainly for ADD but when my do boosted it up to a 300 xl I could feel the brain cells slipping away. The way we got around it was a 150 xl dosage with a regular 75 around lunch.
So far as how wellbutrin works, last I knew the jury was still out as some of it's affects are not entirely understood.
Wellbutrin is supposed to be quite stimulating as a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. I would rather blame the clonazepam for experiencing fatigue. Might as well be symptoms of the depression.
