Depression-talk out your feelings with a friend or family member, talk to your doctor for possible meds/therapy
Anger-Try to talk to the person you are angry with to work out an agreement. Also, pray about your situation.

i agree with mayan21,but can i add is it someone that has done something on you ,or are you just angry in yourself  ,because anger goes with depression ,if so just tell whoever you are angry at ,its not meant towards them ,if they know you suffer with depression they might understand its not meant for them,at that time,its often happent to me but i would apologise later ,if its getting i do recommend you see some one about ,they can only give you good advice.good luck ,

Good question. Wish I had a simple answer, but different things work for different people.

In my case I have found medication to work best. When my depression is under control then so is my anger.

Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with anger as long as it is released and/or channeled in a non-hurtful way.  It helped me write my dissertation; I could get a lot of anger out and then clean up the language later.  It's an emotion like any other, not good and not bad.  It really depends on how you handle it.  Every person who feels anger doesn't necessarily have to take it out on others.

I've heard that depression is anger turned inward and I believe that.  We'd rather hurt ourselves than hurt others.  I don't know what your situation is so maybe meds are the best thing for you.  However, over the years I have learned that anger can be a powerful motivator but it has to be focussed on "something" not "someone".  What helps me with anger might not help you.

Hi  sorry you're having such a hard time. My experience with depression is that better left with the right mood stablizer.Without the stablizer my depression handle me ...and guess who wins? ? There can be a low lying agitatetion   that comes with depression,   and you could be experiencing some of that  When I get angry to the point that I feel I need to address the issue.  I always write things down to get a clearer understanding as to what made me angry in the first place. If I have to address things  I always use I statements , and stick to my feelings. Sometimes after writing things down I realize My role in the situation. And sometimes I'm the one who owes the apology. Hope this has helped. If not read a book on conflict resoltion....freebird227
