what if?

i'm on wellbutrin to STOP smoking weed, does it really works for that?....and if i smoke what would happen?....or if i get drunk?......my dose is 150, twice a day so in a day i take 300 mg's...and i also take clonazepam for sleeping disorder....

I believe wellbutrin is approved as an aide to help stopping smoking cigarettes.
You should not consume alcohol when taking it.

I smoked weed and drank while on wellbutrin which is not good for your depression and can decrease the efficacy of the wellbutrin but I was fine (just a little sensitive to the alcohol.)

Most addictions are addictions of the dopamine system in the brain so it could probably help if you want to quit weed as wellbutrin is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor. And norepinephrine. They give it to people to help quit cigarettes and cocaine as these really deplete your brain of dopamine.
weed is a bit more complex but it might help with cravings if you get cravings to get high ( as cravings probably stem from a dopamine i.e. reward pathways but this is just my speculation) Might not help too much if you just like the experience of being high because you get bored or it helps you relax or sleep or w/e.

wellbutrin is not indicated in the cessation of smoking marijuana, but it does increase your chances of seizure if you drink alcohol while taking it. also, smoking, i think it actually either helps with the cessation of anxiety in anxious peoples or adds anxiety on non anxious people so if you are smoking to chill out (just a guess), you might want to try anti-anxiety meds instead.
