What are the side effects of going off anti depression tablets, waiting to go on new medication?
As i feel like im in hell at the moment and its been day 6 without taking any medication...
If there is any one out there that is going through the same please contact me..
I just got off my Celexa. I tapered off of it slowly over about two, two 1/2 months. I did have some side effects. A littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys "crabby" but mostly just dizzy at times or some "zaps" I think the way I tapered off it worked well. I have gotten off of other medications with much worse withdrawals. I think it depends on the medication and how you are getting off of it. Celexa wasn't bad to get off of PaxilPaxil Paxil cr was terrible.
With SSRIs there are the 'Zaps'. Erm describing them I would find rather difficult but if you get them you will know them. Feels like being dropped momentarily. They don't last too long a couple of weeks tops and i didn't find them particularly bothersome foreither ParoxetineParoxetine Paroxetine hydrochloride Paroxetine hydrochloride er or Fluoxetine.
Are you switching from one medication to another? If so what meds are you swapping?
OR are you going off your antidepressant with no switch? If so what medication?
