when does withdraws end

ive been on effexer xr for two years and i ran out of meds on fri and i cant get a refill till the 14th when i see the doc so how long do u go through withdrawl (withdrawal)

If you have been taking it for than 6 months, then odds are that a cold turkey stop like that will produce withdrawl (withdrawal) symptoms for at least a couple months. Maybe a bit less, maybe a bit more. Some people tell of withdrawl (withdrawal) symptoms lasting as long as 4 months after discontinuation.

Many years ago when I was taking Effexor, I also ran out and figured, "no big deal I will get more in a few weeks when I see my doctor." WOW! was that ever a mistake! After about one week cold turkey, I swear my brain felt like a can of smashed meat.

I ended up calling my docs office and he called me in a script. I suggest you do the same.
