whens best to take PROZAC

i take 20mg of prozac in a morning when i wake up and all day feel tired and have no energy until about tea time when i feel  normal again i am getting a good 7 hours sleep at night but feel restless all the next day. would i be best taking the meds at tea time like i used to when i was on effexor or would it not help me. Any feedback would be great.

I think switching to night dose (or evening) will probably make a big difference for you!

hi been to my doctors this morning and he's said that if i want to try it at night time to see if it helps coz it causing me to feel sleepy. it might be that when i take it at late evening i'll still sleep 7/8 hours and feel better for it in the morning instead of waking up taking it then feel tired not long after but not being able to get bk in bed and seep it off coz my body has had the rest it needs.anyone else had this trouble and found it better to take at the evening???

You need to take it how it was prescribed, but with you being tired all day....a quick call to you doctor should answer your question.  You don't want to do anything without his permission.  Best wishes!
