wife's mental health

My wife(30 yrs old) just told me that she has conversations with herself and her other self. One is a good personality and the other is bad. She says stress and anger causes the bad Kari to appear beside her.
These conversations are out loud if nobody is around and silent  otherwise. She took paxl when she was pregnant almost 6 years ago and this began she thinks......but I learned her grand mother was severley bi-polar.
Are these signs of bipolarism or maybe schizaphrina?

We can't make a diagnosis on here, only provide support. I can say that your wife needs to see a psychiatrist. It could be anything from bipolar and schizophrina, or skitzoaffective, or even a personality disorder..Only a professional can tell.

Also, get her into a regular medical doctor for a full check up. Some times these things can be caused by an infection or something else, like lupus....so she needs blood tests. I'm sorry and I don't mean to make you upset by saying these things, but this is what needs to be done to ensure the health of your wife.

Keep an eye on her. Good luck. Hugs-Bradian

I dont know about bi-polar,that has to go along then though with depressions and mania's or hypomania's. I find schizophrenia unlikely, thats usually much more severe. But Im not a doctor.....It would be a good idea though to see someone about this for some help.
