Hi,

I took effexor for 4 years and when I came off of it I did it very slowly.  Even with that I had horrible dizzy spells for several weeks.  You should check with your doctor before stopping cold turkey.  Once I missed a few days of my meds and my depression and anxiety came back really strong so now I am careful to keep my meds refilled and take them everyday.  I wish you the best, it may not be an easy time for  you.

best wishes,
starr28
