zoloft side effects

by bil3112, Jun 01, 2007 12:00AM
I have just started taking zoloft 50mg for depression.  I have experienced the nausea and dizziness side effect so far.  This has been horrible nausea where I almost vomit and havn't been able to eat much food.  I have been on the medication for 3 days.  I am asking with this condition I'm in should I discontinue the medication or should I continue taking the medication in hopes of the side effects lessening.  Basically about how long does it take for the side effects to lessen while taking the medication?

it will take a week or so before your body calms down..at least that was my experience on Lexapro..but the SSRIs all have a similar side effect profile..see my post on 6/8 for combatting the sexual side effects of Zoloft..
