Hi,
I have been taking Zoloft 75 mg in the morning and Xanax SR 1 mg for one year now and I think that the medication might not be working for me anymore. I wake up feeling very groggy and often in a bad mood. In the afternoon, I feel like I am floating and I cant focus, my thoughts seem to be racing. I even find think my speechHearing or speech impairment - resources Speech disorders becomes slower. What should I do? Do you think I should ask my doctor for a new medication? Thank you,
Xanax should only be taken for short term relief, never long term as it is so addictive - check out the substanceDrug abuse abuse forum. I think you should go back to your doctor and tell him what is happening to you but whatever you do, do not increase your dose. Believe me I'm withdrawing now from xanax and it is not a good feeling. Good luck x
Sometimes a mild adjustment might be in order. But first talk with your dr. It could be the xanax. I was on just about the same dose as you and weened off the xanax and that alowed the zoloft to work alot better.
Good Luck
