zoloft

by pinetopfirefighter, Jun 13, 2008 08:33AM
Good morning.

I have been taking 12.5 mg of zoloft for the last 8 days for panic/depression.  I tried 25mg but it really mad me unable to function ( lethargy, foggy, etc). Anyway, I have been having diarrhea every morning and I am a little concerned.  I have read that this is a normal side effect but my doc says it should'nt be on such a low dose.  I have also been congested, and have noticed my hands and feet are really sweaty since starting the meds.  I am not sick or not running a temp.  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

hi, about 3 weeks ago I tryed zoloft for a couple of weeks and I got really bad migranes. the zoloft stays in your body for 5 days so the migranes are just now starting to go away. all these depression drugs have serious side effects. have you thought of a natural thing like st johns wort or 5-htp? I take both now, they work really well together,. the health food store lady said to take the 5-htp before bed and so I take that at night and in the morning st johns wort. it seems to be working for me.
