Red Rash on neck and all over chest , blotchy and sore

I have a rash that now has been there for over a month .It is red and sore around my neck all over my chest .There are some red spots too. It itches sometimes but not often.I have been prescribed antihistamines - dont work , Hydrocortizone creams - dont work.
I had a bumpy rash on rear of my neck initially this has gone but neck and chest much worse.
I use on dermatologically tested products and have used nothing new for sometime .I have cut out using products incase it is an allergy. I have had sore eyelids too but this went away in the first few days - any ideas ?It is very noticable and like i said i have had it over a month now .

One of the possibilities for your symptoms is pityriasis rosea. Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and sometimes by itching.

No treatment is usually required. In most patients, the condition lasts only a matter of weeks or months(upto six months)

If the rash persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.Other possibilities have to be ruled out then. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
