14 year old son

My son is 14 going on 15 a few years back like most kids he recieved a sunburn on his nose. so now if fogets one time to put sun screen on his nose it urn red and stays red for months....pretty much just the ball end of his nose.....what can we do to remendy this ongoing problem. ther are no blisters just very smoothe skin but RED.

After a peeling sunburn, the skin often reddens after sun, even with protection.  This is because the non-burning rays still get through.  The redness does not mean he is getting more damage.  There is no treatment for the redness.  (A girl would use makeup.)  As long as your son uses #30 sunblock--which he should do anyway--he should be fine.  One sunburn doesn't cause meaningful permanent damage.
