20-30 taste bud sized bumps in a line around penis helmet

I just starting dating a guy and we haven't slept together yet.  But he showed me his penis and explained that he was cicumsized just 9 years ago (he's 30).  The alarming thing was the line of bumps along the ridge of the helmet.  All in a line along the ridge like swollen taste buds.  Red in color not white heads.  I wanted to gather some information before I ask.  I know he sees his doctor regularly and is a stricked catholic who doe snot sleep around - but how can I ask him wigh out embarressing him and also any thoughts as to what this could be?

Dont be stupid.  He was not embarrressed to show you his penis; dont you be shy or naive about being to-the-point with him.  You just start dating him and you dont know his past or what he has and has not done or what he has.  Be smart and protect yourself and i not talking just about protective sex.  You are grown - wise up and find you somebody else.

they are just pours , they can enlarge like that when he's not circumsized (the little man just needs air) . Having it done recently wont change it.

Hi,

This could be - pearly penile papules or fordyce spots. You would need to consult your doctor for a confirmed diagnosis.

'Pearly penile papules are multiple, small (about 1-3mm) papules running around the circumference of the crown of the glans (glands) penis. They typically develop in men aged 20 to 40, and around 10 per cent of all men are affected. They may be mistaken for warts, are not infectious and require no treatment.'

'Fordyce spots are small (1-5mm) bright red or purple papules that can appear on the glans (glands), shaft or scrotum and usually affect younger men. They may occur as a solitary lesion, but frequently appear in crops of 50 to 100. They are painless and not itchy, but may cause embarrassment because of their appearance, or a fear that they might be sexually transmitted. '

Let us know if you need any further information.

Post us about what your doctor advises.

Regards.
