3 Year old with pubic rash/warts

Should I be concerned that my 3 year old has a what look to be pimples on her pubic bone and her upper thigh?  The pediatrician said they were warts.  She also has a yeast infection which she seems to get a lot of.  My concern is that this same child also had Shingles at 18 months of age.  Both of these are strange enough on their own but happening to the same child at such young ages?  Could it be a problem with her immunity?

No, I don't think so.  Shingles is uncommon in a child, but doesn't signify any immune problem when it happens.  Yeast infections are common and only annoying.  As to the "pimples," I'd guess that these are molluscum warts, which are also very common in kids and generally go away on their own.  I'd discuss your concerns with your pediatrician, but I don' think you need to worry.

Take care.
