5 year old with broken blood vessel

My daughter has had a broken blood vessel under her eye for the last 8 months and it does not seem to be going away as the doctor told us it would. In fact it seems more red lately. Is there anything we can do besides expense laser surgury?

No there was never a trama or any visual problems. It is just a red spot under her eye. It is kind of on the lower lid almost on her upper cheek. It spiders out but it is very small. And no we never called an ophthalmologist, my mom told me it was a broken blood vessel because she has had them before. And my daughters ped doctor said it should go away in a few months but it hasn't.

I have just read your comment. Has it improved at all. Did you have to do anything?

I could have written the exact same thing as you. My daughter has the same high on her cheek bone, just below the eye.

Please let me know if it got better on its own or if there is something I should do.
