6 year old daughter with bad rash on arms and backs of legs

My 6 year old daughter has had a itchy red rash on her arms, sometimes tops of her feet and backs of her legs on and off for about 2 years.  Been to dermatologists, who diagnosed it as Eczema.  Still keeps coming back, sometimes getting infected.  What is the best remedy to stop this?

Hi,

She could take some oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications like loratadine or cetrizine and see if it helps with her symptoms. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions to help soothe the symptoms.

You would still need to reconsult her doctor about the associated symptoms she is  having and to rule out a bacterial or fungal infection and whether she needs a course of antibiotics or other medications.
