A SOLUTION TO ITCHY LEGS

by starbright13, Oct 30, 2008 09:58AM
i've read all the comments about your severely itching legs and i am with you! mine started earlier this year while i was in germany. i went to a doctor there and was prescribed Eucerin 10% Urea Lotion. the itching stopped almost immediately. it took a few weeks for the bumps and redness to go away (from all of my scratching). and even after all itching was gone, i continued to use the lotion morning and night because i feared it coming back. a few months ago i came home to the u.s. and soon after ran out of the lotion. i thought i was cured so i went back to my regular routine of natural oatmeal soap and lotion. however, the problem has returned with a vengeance. i went to my doctor here in portland and she thought it might be an allergy to my socks. i knew better. she recommended Sarna lotion, which I've been using. it helps a little, but i'm still very itchy and want to scratch my skin off. i asked about the Eucerin lotion and she had never heard of it. i researched and found out that it's not for sale in the  U.S. but we CAN order it online :) here is the website:

when i use this the itch doesn't wake me up at night anymore, it's just gone. and my legs were healthy looking again. i don't know what the cause is. something we don't understand yet, clearly. i know i have a gluten intolerance, but i still am not totally 100% gluten free, so maybe that's it. or maybe it's a build up of all the toxins we take in on a daily basis in our air, water, food, cleaning products, beauty products, work environments, etc. and some of us are just highly sensitive, perhaps. i really have no idea. but i know this stuff worked beautifully. and i can't wait till it arrives in the mail!

good luck to you. i hope it works for you!
