A strange rash on my face, feeling hopeless

A strange rash on my face, feeling hopeless

Hello everyone,

I've always had a near perfect skin, i do have few zits the week before my periods but even during my teenage i never had major acnea problems since i have a good diet and a very healthy life style, i also have to say i never had allergy before,
but last year i was dating a man who had strange red bumps on his chest all the time, i dated him for about 6 months thinking that it was just some kind of acnea as i was never developing symptomes. The week after breaking up with him i noticed a small bump on my lip. I never had cold sore before but i remembered that this guy told me he did experience cold sore episodes in the past so i went to the pharmacy and asked for a cream for it, the pharmacist gave me lipactin. I used it 2 days but i felt like it wasnt helping at all, then a bunch of small hard bumps covered my lips and i started to feel my cheeks and chin tickling. I went to the doctor and he told me it looked either like a dermatitits or herpes. he gave me some cortizone cream but it did not help much, everything went away after 2 weeks.

The next month everything came back even worst, my lips were still covered of bumps and some liquid was going out of it but my cheeks and chin were also covered of red very itchy patches and when i was looking closely i could see that the patches were actualy a tons of bumps really close from each other, but people had to look very closely and have a good light in the good angle to see it, and if i touch it and then touch for exemple my arm or leg i get the same thing on the other area! i went to the doctor again and said it look like an allergic reaction or herpes, he said i should keep using the cream and get a HVP1 and HVP2  test and a diabethes test too.
Again, everything went away by itself after about 1 week this time.
i took the test and everything came out negative.

That ''thing'' did came back every months after that, it was lasting between 4 days and 2 weeks every times. and i was keep going to the doctor, ive met about 8 generalist, they were always saying it looks like herpes or allergy, one of them also talked abotu urticaria. so as the herpes test were negative they sent me to the allergologist but that one said he's pretty sure its neither an allergy or urticaria. so he refered me to a dermatologist but as the patch come and go and when i call for an apointment im expecting to wait like 2 months the dermatologist said he dont see anything on the day of my apointment.
I went to another dermatologist and he said he think its perioral rosacea, he gave me metrocream and told me to go back after 2 months. but all the pictures i see of perioral rosacea doesnt look like what ive got at all and i dont know why it would be caled ''perioral'' if it also can aftect my arm or legs.

Its been more than a year that im living with this now and i still dont know what it is, i hope that one of you may bring me some help

Hello,
From the symptoms it can be bacterial skin infection since it is spreading. It does not look like a viral infection like herpes and even the tests have come out negative. To confirm the diagnosis, I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist and get a culture of the skin scrapings as well as a biopsy skin done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
