Accutane Hair Loss

by becca428, Jun 06, 2008 11:31AM
I too have taken Accutane, not once but twice. My first dosage was was in 1997. This is before all of the mental problems were detected. I had those, but it wasn't so bad I realized a drug was doing something to me. My family did, but chose not to tell me. Why? Maybe they seen what my acne was doing to me on a social level. I signed back up about 10 years later. After my second treatment, my hair is falling out. I had to quit taking the drug early, due to the metal state is was putting me in. It was soooo much worse this time, maybe due to my age difference. My husband flushed them. It has been a few months now. I returned from the doctor yestarday, after a battery of test. My hair continues to fall out. I'm not talking about small amounts. I have to use DRANO in my tub at least once a week. I hope at some point this will reverse. If not, I will have to live as a bald woman with acne. Yes, I still have the acne. I would not suggest ANYONE use this drug.
