Acne Cysts

by edie21, Jul 05, 2008 05:44AM
Other than going to a Dermatologist, what can I do to get rid of acne cysts that pop up most of the time around my lower lip and on my chin?

This discussion is related to pustular/cystic acne rosacea.

Hi

You may need to apply topical medication such as isotretinoin in the area. You also need oral antibiotics for this. If cystic acne persists then you may need oral isotretinoin to help alleviate the condition. I understand that seeing a physician may take time ,money and effort, however when oral medications are concerned which I feel you need ,then a physician consult will be necessary to guide you with the medications.

Have you been applying anything on your face already?
