Acts like a pimple takes 4ever to heal

What is this and how to treat it. I have researched cold sores do not believe its the same thing. I have had pimples since I was 13 this starts the same way looks like a pimple but if you pop it it becomes a red sore that takes a while to heal and leaves a red scare. It does not itch or burn and is not yellow does not have yellow crust when you pop it. Looks like a pimple have one on my cheek and one on my chin. I have been having a flare up with acne this winter but this looks bad and I just want it to heal and go away. I found several forums with the same comments as mine all with the same question. What is it???
