African American with Rosecea

by Stephanie6666, Jul 31, 2008 09:13AM
I seek a African American dermatologist OR a dermatologist well versed in rosecea in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York or Delaware area.
I have been to Susan Taylor, to no avail.  Are there others?

Here's my issue, I am African American.  I have rosecea and I am allergic to tetracycline.  I am currently experiencing a flare up my cheeks and nose look like I have sunburn when I have not been out in the sun and there are little bumps.  The usual, for me, flare up symptoms.  To date, I have not found a dermatologist who can help me thus my request.  I have had been tested and a number of doctors have confirmed it is rosecea.

Please advise
