Air Bubbles Under Skin.

Over the last couple months i have been getting what seems to be air bubbles under my skin on my fingers and toes. After a while they rise to the surface and burst. They are painful, exspecially after they burst. I have done some research and my guess is hand eczema, but like i mentioned I also have they on my toes.  Please help!

*I play soccer if that makes a differance.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

These symptoms can be due to pompholyx. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). But they are available under prescription and should be taken only after consulting a dermatologist. Symptoms  can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin. I suggest you to get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist after examination if they appear again.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.

Much like plane warts as it is seen now. Perhaps these could represent Pompholyx which have burst. Zinc oxide creme helps here. Do consult your doc.
Best wishes.
