Alopecia

My son is 9 years old and he has had alopecia since 2 every year it just keeps getting worst, its only on his head but now when the hair grows in its only blond and it never turns brown anymore. He does not want the injections on the scalp but we do use clobetasol cream. Please let me know what other treatments there are. Also all his blood tests are normal only his iron is alittle high and we are trying to keep it under control. Please i need to know if there is anything else I can do for him.
