Anal Protrusion

I have a stalk like growth protruding from my anus. It does not hurt and bleeds sometimes when I wipe. I was told it is possible hemorrhoids. What could it be?

It is very possible that you have developed hemorrhoids.  Differential diagnoses include: condyloma acuminata (warts), rectal prolapse, pedunculated  polyp, etc.

In addition to taking thorough history of the disease and conducting general physical examination, your physician will perform visual inspection of the rectum, digital rectal examination, and anoscopy or proctosigmoidoscopy (if indicated), to establish final diagnosis.
