around my anus and i went to my local GUM clinic....They identified them as anal warts and they gave me a treatment called Aldara which i had to rub on the infected area every 2 nights and then wash it off in the morning.
I went back to the clinic in november and the doctor said that the warts had gone, i was very happy but he said they could come back.
Anyway in December i looked inside my anal area and i found a couple of small lumps
...I havent yet seen a doctor but i was reading on the internet about anal cancer and now im really scared that thats what it could be.
What do you think i should do?
Anal warts are small warts that can occur in the rectum. They are cauliflower-like protuberances and are usually symptomless. They are spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex
For small warts that affect only the skin around the anus, several medications(like podophyllum resin, Podofilox (Condylox), Trichloroacetic and bichloroacetic acids, Imiquimod 5% cream and interferons) are available, which can be applied directly to the surface of the warts.Other treatment options include electrical cautery, surgical removal, Carbon dioxide laser treatment and electrodesiccation.
As the warts are persisting inside the anus,so I feel that you should consult a dermatologist and get them surgically removed or by the other methods I have mentioned above.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.Kind regards.
