About three days ago I noticed a small flesh colored bump on my behind. I have these sort of bumps all over my skin all the time (it's just always been the way the skin in this area has looked) but this one was slightly larger than the others and I assumed it was the beginning of a pimple although I could not see an obvious head. However, it's kind of hard to get a close look at this area. I picked at the bump and it bled slightly and the next day had turned into a scab. I still thought nothing of it. Last night I picked the scab off and clear fluid came out and now the scab is about the size of a pencil eraser and the skin around it is very red. There is no pain whatsoever even when I touch the area. IS it possible that this could be a herpe? I have been with the same person for 2 years and I have never had any symptoms like this anywhere else. I have also had acne, or what I thought was acne, on my behind before but never paid close attention to what it looked like as it progressed and went away. I know you cannot make a diagnosis without seeing the bump but does this sound like it could be herpes? Thank you for your time.

No, it does not sound like herpes. Herpes is characterized by grouped blisters, not a sngle-flesh-colored bump. I advise you not to pick it, to apply an antibiotic ointment like bacitracin or neosporin, and to show you doctor so you won't have to worry.
