Androgenic alopecia

i have severe itching on scalp and massive hair loss around crown area of the head.The hair loss was very slow but from the last year it is very fast.By just rubbing hand in hairs,there is hair loss.I consulted a doctor and he said it's androgenic alpoecia.The medicines he prescribed were chinese medicine.Can you please tell me whether his diagnosis is right and can you please tell me the best medical treatment for hair loss and itching.I a suffering from gynecomastia.i don't know it is true or pseudo,also i am over weight.

Androgenic alopecia,itching is not a presenting symptom but in seborrheic dermatitis.Flucort lotion applied or a few days should greatly relieve the symptoms,can be followed up with nizoral shampoo.
