Annoying rash...

So when I was about 15(I'm 21 now about to be 22), we found a ringworm on the back of my right leg. Well, I got lamisil for it. And I used it for a while. It went away. Well then a few months later, something showed up on my legs.. BUt it wasn't ringworm. I have been dealing with these annoying little patches of rash or whatever since the ringworm went away. This is not ringworm, but its something. Ive gone to the doctor for it a few times(in the last 6 years) and they always give me something different. They gave me lamisil then a steroid cream(dont remember what its called), and recently I went back because it started to come back, and they gave me lotrimin cream.  Well, I would use this stuff and they all finally went away and I continued to use it for a little while after. Then I stopped using it and a few months later, lo and behold they come back. I don't know what this is but it won't go away!!!
OK so the main one is on my right ankle, then on my elbows a little but those are raised(ive always thought i had a case of psoriasis or eczema but these things are not it). The one on my right ankle looks just like a basic fungus and its round and red. ACtually it looks a little like ringworm but its not ringworm.  My question is do you think I should go to the doctor to see if I should get that lamisil pill...I mean since it will be in my bloodstream so maybe it will make these things go away? And ahs anyone had this issue after getting ringworm and howd you get rid of it if you did?

Hi,
The round lesions that you are developing in medical terminology are called "annular".Although most annular lesions will be typical of a dermatophytosis(fungal infections of the skin)  ane must consider other possible diagnoses.
apart from ring worm it could also be of another variety.
It is best that you visit a doctor and get it diagnosed correctly before you start any kind of treatment.
Also you should consider the possibility of urticaria or hives which is an allergic re-action.It also comes on as red round rashes which are itchy.
The treatment for this is antihistamine medications.
Since you have mentioned flea-bites it could very well turn out to be this.
