Anyone have just one round sore with blisters

For over 15 years I have had a sore pop up, hurt, itch and my lymph node gets tender. I go to the doctor and over the years all have said the same thing, Shingles. It is only one half dollar size round full of tiny blistrs. I take the oral RX and zovirax cream and it clears it up pretty fast.  they are on my buttocks and uppper thigh areas.  Some of them do leave scars.

A doctor a few months back tried to culture it and thyought it to be someting else, and I can't remember the name. But the culture was not productive due to the stage of the dried up blisters at the time. I am to go back when they oocur again, which is today actually.   Having only one circle I don't feel it is shingles and neither did the doctor this time.

When she first told me this and before I lost the name of what she felt it was, I had researched it and it was tied to celiic or gluten. Has anyone else ever had this happen and what was the results. Thanks. V

One of the important possibilities that is coming to my mind is of dermatitis herpetiformis. Typical symptoms include burning, stinging, and intense itching and rash consists of small vesicles on the extensor aspects. It is an autoimmune blistering disorder associated with a gluten-sensitive enteropathy. Investigation which needs to be done is biopsy skin which is the only investigation to diagnose this condition.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
