Arm pimples

I get these really weird bumps (not goose bumps) or pimples on my arms. They have this weird pus inside, I know this because I have OCD and cant stop popping them!!! Its horrible and weird. My arms look terrible, worse whenever I am stressed. They are also very scarred now.

I really want to know how to get rid of them and minimise the scars. I cannot get any special prescribed medicines but I do have quarterzone cream that works over time. I also have used bio oil on the scars but it doesnt seem to work, and i used it over months.

Please, any advice?

Pimples are commonly caused by infected hair follicles or clogged pores. They are common on face, back, chest and shoulders where the oil glands in your skin are most active but can occur on upper arms also. Pimple-like bumps on your arms can also be caused by keratosis pilaris.In this condition there is buildup of protein keratin which plugs the hair follicles. A lotion containing salicylic acid, which removes dead skin cells may be effective in this condition. The exact cause can be determined only after a clinical examination. Seek the opinion of a dermatologist. Do keep us posted.
