, so my doctor said, and gave me cream to use. The cream helped, but than once in a while it would comeback, and go away again. Well now about 2 years later, the skin under my armpets is very dry and somewhat flacky, and rednes in many places. So now i am trying to use that creme again and see if it helps, otherwise i dont know what to do? And now it does not look like a ring worm.
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be due to fungal infection of the skin. Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical zinc oxide cream like Sudocrem, Desitin are very helpful(apply with a paper towel and not directly with hands
please take some over the counter antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin. In case the symptoms persist then antifungals may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
