Armpit lumps

I am a 20 year old, usually healthy, male. My right armpit has started to hurt a little bit but I didn’t think anything of it because it was very minor pain. Last night I was just feeling around it and I found a small lump where the slight pain was coming from. When I woke up this morning both of my armpits had the minor pain and I discovered one lump on each pit. I started doing some research to see if there is anything I can do about this. I am not insured and do not have a doctor so I don’t want to go unless it gets worse. What can I do to at home and OTC to help this? I have read that it is possibly a Swollen Lymph Node or a Small Sebaceous Cyst. Other than the very minor pain I feel fine. I need any helpful information please. (what are they, why/how did they develop, how can i fix them, how can i prevent this in the future, etc.) Thanks in advance!

I had exactly the same thing. The lump in my armpit grew rapidly over 3-4 days and hurt so much I couldn't raise my arm. It lasted for about 2 weeks and then went away. Wait for a few days and if it doesn't get better then you should definitely go and see a doc.
Hope you feel better.

swollen lymph nodes need to be checked if they stick around for more than 2 weeks.  They enlarge in response to infection.

you can always go to the local county health clinic, they usually bill only to your ability to pay.
