I recently maybe a week ago saw pimple like dots in a clusterCluster headaches on my right labia majora... i used to have multiple times a pimple here and there but it never came in clustersCluster headaches and it sometimes on occasion gives me an itch. I do not have pain only a small inflammatoryInflammatory bowel disease Ulcerative colitisstingSting-kill once in a while throughout the day because it is red and looks irritated ( my popping and touching it and ripping it open). I slept with 3 guys and am 22 and I never noticed anything on their penises. I checked myself for STDs last year in June and it is scaring me realllyyyyyyyyyyyy bad that it is herpes or another STD. i went to the ER right away because I was scared.. the doctor put me on KEPLEX and told me it was FOLLICULITIS- but there is no hair anywhere near those bumps nor inside.. i checked and look and he told me that it didnt look like herpes but I am so afraid. What could it be?
Hi,
It is most probably folliculitis, you do not have to see hair for this condition to exist. The root of the hair will be present which can get infected.
Do not pop it or in any way meddle with it because you will aggravate the condition.
Just apply an antibacterial cream on the area, twiceTwice-a-day a day for a week. It should be okay by then.
Herpes presents with fluid-filled blisters associated with pain/burning/tingling sensations.
You can wait for a couple of days and see if the bumps improve, which will happen, and then decide whether you want to get yourself tested for Herpes/STD's.
