My friend drinks and smokes. Sometimes he has no cigarettes and picks up dirty ones off the pavement. He has now got an infection round his mouth and it is getting into his lungs too. No way will he go to the doctor. I cant find what the infection is called so I can buy him something.I have tried anti- fungal creams and anti- bacterial mouth washes but it is not solving it. Can u help please?
Hi,
How is your friend? Can you elaborate on his symptoms? It is difficult to treat an infection if the underlying cause is not known.Medications you are giving him such as the fungal creams and mouthwashes will only be useless. It is best that he goes to a doctor for proper evaluation. His medical history and direct clinical examination are important. Talk to him and make him realize that not treating his symptoms will leadLead poisoning to more serious conditions.
