I have very soft skin for a man but don't have any problems on any other part of my body.
I went to my Dr about it but he was un interested and mentioned some thing about some form on Dermatitis and said that I cant do anything about it. I really dont want to belive that because it gets me down when it flares up.
How can I identify which what problem I have and how I can cure it?
Other differentials include eczema or rosacea. Eczema, a type of dermatitis usually presents with recurring or chronic dryness, redness, itching, crusting, weeping or bleeding. Moisturizing may help and it is recommended to avoid soaps and harsh detergents. Rosacea, on the other hand, is a chronic, inflammatory skin disorder which presents as facial redness across the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead. Potential triggers include external factors such as the sun, wind, food or beverages, hot environments, cold environments, vasodilator medications, physical irritation, and even cosmetics or skin care products. Stress, anxiety, strong emotions, and hormone-related conditions may also lead to this condition. If it persists, have this evaluated by your doctor for proper management. Direct examination is important to determine the diagnosis. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause.
