Bald Patch On Beard

by TexasJ90, May 20, 2009 01:22AM
Whenever I use my laptop I usually rest my chin just under the keyboard while web surfing. And for a few months I've noticed that there's a small area on my chin that won't grow hair. Could me resting my chin on my laptop for long periods of time could have caused this?

More likely to be a spot of alopecia areata.Pressure induced hair loss is seen in infants but i am not aware about in adults.

Is there something I can do about this or is it genetic and will just always be there?

If it is alopecia areata spontaneous growth occurs in some.Few may need a local steroid injection.Consult your doc.
