I also get head and scalp sweats at the slightest bit of rise in outside temperature,  slight anxiety and slight exertion.  Occasionally at night as well.   I've recently been diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome and we believe that it has caused autonomic neuropathy effecting the nerves supplying the blood vessels to my head.    You might want to consider that as a possibility.

This discussion is related to Abnormal Head Sweat.

Hi,

Yes, what you have mentioned on autonomic neuropathy secondary to Sjogren's syndrome may help explain your condition.

Sjogren's Syndrome is associated with several forms of neuropathies. One form is a multiple cranial neuropathy.Trigeminal neuropathy has also been considered. The trigeminal nerve supplies portions of the scalp.

You may want to look into this and discuss your concerns with your physician for further evaluation and assessment.
