Birthmark Change

I have had a birthmark since childhood right under my right pectoral. (sp?)
Just yesterday I noticed that there are a couple very very tiny white bumps surrounding the birthmark. It also seems to have changed from just a mark to that of a type of crater.

The mark has always, and still is, just one color. It is symmetrical, and has a constant border. I've been looking at melanoma websites.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you again!

Hi,

I wasnt able to look at the picture that you have sent. But could you clarify a few questions about the lesion you mention -

What colour was the mark? What size was it approximately?

Do you have rash or itching at the site?

Are you on any medications currently?

Do let us know the above details , and also post us about any other query that you may have.

In my opinion, it would be best to let a clinician have a look at it so that a diagnosis can be established and the cause of the sudden change be established.

Regards.

It was always dark, like other birthmarks. Very small 5 mm x 2.4 mm oval.
No rash, no itch, no medications.
I recently started taking a multi-vitamin.

I kinda looks like if you get a cut, and then is scabs over, and you pick the first scab and there is the healed skin. It looks a little like that.
