Bites or Something on Inner thighs

I was outside a few days ago working with my husband and felt like I was getting bit by mosquitos.  After a few minutes I went inside but didn't shower right away but did later that night.  Since then I've had what appears to be bites all over my upper legs/thigh area stopping where my leg and panties meet.  Some are small red dot like bumps and some are larger raised bumps.  Also, there are a few long red lines close to my panty line...thinking these could be from scratching or from jogging with this going on I'm not sure.  These itch like crazy....any idea what this is and what I can do about it?  Do I need to see a doctor?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Please elaborate the symptoms, site, description of rash as it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis with out examination. It can be hives, allergic reaction, scabies bites, insect bites etc.
Till that time, you can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). But they are available under prescription and should be taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
