Bites that are 1 inch apart?

There's 2 bites on my legs that are perfectly 1 inch apart, I rarely go outside and I don't know where these bites are coming from. At first I thought they're ant bites but there's no way that's possible. My sister has 2 bite marks on her lower back that are also 1 inch apart. She also have 3 bite marks on her right shoulder that are 1 inch apart from each other in a curved line which scares me a lot. Her bite marks are more red than mine, mine is just a little bit pink. Is it some sort of disease? If not what bugs bit me and my sister?
I got my bite marks 1 day ago and my sister got hers 4 days ago.
I often bring my dog in the house, but my dog doesn't have fleas and doesn't go outside as much, does he bring bugs in the house?
We have a balanced out diet and we take showers often.

Nope, no bed bugs anywhere.
There's no wooded area around my house or any bushes. My dog takes shower 2 times a week.

Your dog goes outside, is there a wooded area or some underbrush he frequents?   He might be a carrier (literally), fleas hop onto him, then drop off onto the carpet, then up onto you and your sister's clothing.  He may have a high pain tolerance and rarely bothers stratching flea bites.  They get thirsty too so if they're on him they're apt to be in his neck or face hair.

Or, could be bed bugs.  Bring any suspiciously bargain priced or free used furniture or luggage into the house lately?  Though in theory, they could simply fall off a visitor's clothing.
