Blac spot on head of the penis

Hello all,

Recently i had a redness and black spot on head of the penis, i applied Globen-G cream then some dead skins came off, but the black spot didn't clear.

I visited a dermatologist, he examined and said its a lichen planus, and he gave fluster cream in day and metrogyl cream at night to apply, i don't have any pain or itchy, but i am worried about the black spot.

I am 27 yr old unmarried, i don't have any sexual partners,  i got this redness  and black spot on penis head glands 20 days ago, now only the black spot is there with some itch when glands touch the underwear. the black spot is surrounded by 1/2 cm with soft skin compared to other area of glands.

How long will it take to cure lichen planus

I agree with your dermatologist that it can be lichen planus which may not present with itching and is common on genital hernia. Lichen planus is an inflammatory disease that affects the skin and the oral mucosa, and presents itself in the form of papules (flat spots) or rashes. It is an itchy papular eruption characterized by its violaceous color
Treatment is available only on prescription and consists mainly of steroids, retinoids, hydroquinone and phototherapy.
