Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be a freckle or a lentigo apart from penile melanoma which may present with similar features. It is only after a biopsy that we can confirm what it is. Treatment will depend on the confirmation of diagnosis. So my sincere advice is to consult a dermatologist and get a biopsy done. Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Kind regards
Thank you for your help. If it were to be penile melanoma can it be cured? Will the black spot be removed? Same goea for it it was to be lentogo. Thank you again for all you help.
Hello,
Penile melanoma is very rare and if the diagnosis is confirmed then depending on the stage og the malignancy, surgical removal, radiation therapy and chemotherapy can be used. You cannot remove lentigo at home. Cryosurgery using liquid nitrogen and laser are the main treatment modalities. Although there are many skin creams like hydroquinone and salicylic acid, but their use needs prescription .I would recommend a dermatologist’s consultation for this.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Kind regards.
Hello, I went to my doctor on Saturday and he confirmed it was a mole. Thank you for all your help, also to be sure you think I should go to a dermatologist since he didn't run any tests he just looked at it?
