Blister on child face after surgery

My daughter had tonsilectomy, while she was still in the recovery room approximately 30minutes after surgery . I noticed red marks on her right cheek and one developed into a blister ... some of the small one remained red
she was given Benadryl but it didn't subside so her surgeon told us that it wasn't an allegic reaction. It has been days
and the blisters that burst already is still fresh as an open wound and the small red marks are stillon her face. The doctors discharged us after 6 hours ... my little girls face still has a big wound and might scar later on . What should I do? The surgeon told us at the hospital that he will contact a Dermatologist to look
at it but it never happened until they discharge us. they gave me a sample ointment that has neomycin , polymyxin b , sulfates and dexamethasone opthalmic ointment... why was it given to her ...is it a burn ointment or opthalmic ointment ...it never seem to be working on her. What do you is going on with her?
