when playing, socks getting wet, etc. They looked like they were starting to dry up but this morning he had another one on the side of his pinkie toe. He's mostly had them on the bottom/sides of his feet. He keeps saying he has a boo boo on his feet and acts like they hurt. No fever
or blisters anywhere else.
I noticed this morning I have one on the bottom of one of my toes. (I can feel it when I walk). It's like a flat blister but there is fluid in it. I also have a couple of red bumps on the top of my foot
Hello,
From the symptoms it can be friction blisters or exfoliative keraotlysis. If they turn itchy, then dyshidrotic eczema and fungal infections need to be ruled out and if there is any fever or appearance of blisters on the hands and inside the mouth then hands, foot and mouth disease need to be ruled out.
The first sign of exfoliative keratolysis is one or more superficial air-filled blisters on the fingers or palms. The blisters burst to leave tender, circular areas. The symptoms are aggravated by exposure to irritants including water, soap, detergents and solvents. Treatment includes protection from irritants, emollients hand creams and phototherapy in severe cases. I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist and get the diagnosis confirmed.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
